It wasn't the greatest reply I could've hoped for.

To date, the only figures I've found have been a combination of hearsay and wishful thinking.  The numbers I've found are everything between several hundred and two thousand.

The long and short of the reply was that they can only provide that type of information for current models.  Bummer.  It was worth a try.

Therefore, as Ford (or at least the department I got through to) can't help directly, I'm going to cast the net a little wider and ask for YOUR help.  If you are a Ford employee and have access to this kind of information, and you're allowed to share it, I'd really appreciate you getting in touch.  Some form of 'official evidence', like a letter, or a copy of screenshot, to show that number would be great.

I was however advised to contact the Ford Sierra Owners Club, in the hope that they may help - I'm already a member, and tried that avenue before!  Never mind, eh?
